The Journey of the Olive Tree
A unique experience through time and the culture of Corfu
A journey into the history of the olive tree and olive oil through the family and local tradition of olive oil production.
The ENŌTIS© Museum
Founded in 2022 to host the family’s collection of objects and tools related to traditional methods of harvesting, production, and storage. The project was realized in collaboration with the Department of Museum Studies and Collections of the Ionian University. The museological study, documentation, and exhibition curation were carried out by Ms. Maria Tsouka, under the scientific supervision and coordination of Professor Stavros Vlizos, the first director of the Museum Collections of the Ionian University.
